Today we went to the zoo, along with half of the city. It was such a pretty day to be outside, and we wanted Ethan to visit the zoo. It started out bumpy, when it took an hour and fifteen minutes to find a parking spot. Chris was ready to turn around and go home, but he continued to look, just for Ethan. I told him that this is what parenting is...looking for a parking spot even though you would rather be home watching the basketball games. :)

Ethan was asleep when we got there...well, we had been in the car for a while. We walked over to the giraffes first. Chris got him out of the stroller, and he seemed to be upset ,and I thought oh no!!! But he woke up and even seemed to enjoy being outside and wore his hat proudly. Doesn't he look adorable? We then went to look at the elephants. He was fixed on what I thought was the elephants, but when I looked up, it was a bird that was in the tree. But hey, it was an animal and we were at the zoo. He took a couple naps and was awake for a while. It was fun day and we couldn't have asked for better weather.
We walked around some more and talked to him about the animals. I can imagine that in a few years, he is going to be running around telling us about the animals. That time will be here before we know it. When we got to the car I changed his diaper in the back, and then I asked him if he had fun today at the zoo...watch the video to see his answer.
What a GREAT day! I can't wait to go back.
