Maggie is still trying to figure it out...

Maggie is still trying to figure Ethan out. She doesn't seem to mind him or his screaming. I can say that she also enjoys pacifiers--we have already lost two. Ethan doesn't seem to be bothered by Maggie. He doesn't wake up when she barks--we are just hoping that it continues. Every once in a while she will go and smell Ethan, I think just to make sure that he is still there. This morning we took a nap on the couch, I held him in my left arm and her in my right arm. We took this video on Sunday afternoon, Maggie seemed to be more interested in the toys hanging then Ethan is--that is until she realizes that Ethan is laying there and she tries to figure out where the smell is coming from. :)

Bathtime!

Ethan had his second bath at home the other day. We were nervous, because the first time he screamed the entire time. But, this time you would have thought that he was at a spa. Ethan was happy and didn't even squirm. Hopefully, this continues everytime, I know that is most likely to good to be true. He really enjoyed his ducky towel also. By the look on his face, he really likes being clean!

Ethan is a week old today! It is so hard to believe. Chris and I spending most of our time trying to figure out all his little cries and squirms. So far I would have to say that motherhood is tiring, but I am loving every minute of it.

Maggie is still getting used to having Ethan home. On Sunday, I went to the store, and she didn't want me to leave. I think she thought that I was going to bring another one home, because the last time I left I came back with a baby. :) She is really good at letting us know when Ethan has a stinky diaper. Home Sweet Home!!!

Ethan got to come home from the hospital today. What a way to start off the year 2010! Chris and I are so blessed.

It is nice to have him home, and I think that Maggie has enjoyed it so far also. She got real excited when we came into the house. Over the next couple days and weeks it is going to take some getting used to for her, but I know that Ethan and Maggie will be great friends.
