Bathtime!

Ethan had his second bath at home the other day. We were nervous, because the first time he screamed the entire time. But, this time you would have thought that he was at a spa. Ethan was happy and didn't even squirm. Hopefully, this continues everytime, I know that is most likely to good to be true. He really enjoyed his ducky towel also. By the look on his face, he really likes being clean!

A little Daddy and son time.

Ethan is a week old today! It is so hard to believe. Chris and I spending most of our time trying to figure out all his little cries and squirms. So far I would have to say that motherhood is tiring, but I am loving every minute of it.
Maggie is still getting used to having Ethan home. On Sunday, I went to the store, and she didn't want me to leave. I think she thought that I was going to bring another one home, because the last time I left I came back with a baby. :) She is really good at letting us know when Ethan has a stinky diaper. This is a picture of her trying to figure out where the smell is coming from...

Home Sweet Home!!!

Ethan got to come home from the hospital today. What a way to start off the year 2010! Chris and I are so blessed.

It is nice to have him home, and I think that Maggie has enjoyed it so far also. She got real excited when we came into the house. Over the next couple days and weeks it is going to take some getting used to for her, but I know that Ethan and Maggie will be great friends.

Graduation 2009

Yesterday, morning I graduated with my Masters in Education. It was a really nice ceremony and I had a lots of family around supporting me. Thank you, all! Afterwards, we came back to our house to have lunch and cake. It took me two and half years to get my Masters, and let me tell you I am just glad that I finished BEFORE our little one came.

Let it SNOW!!!

Um...I am not so sure about all this? Don't you want to pick me up, now?

Look at the snowman! Where is his carrot nose?

This is my snowball!

We had an exciting day here yesterday. It snowed all day long, and when I got home from school we had about 2 and a half inches of snow on the ground. Chris, Maggie and I went out into the backyard and enjoyed ourselves. Well, Chris and I enjoyed ourselves...it took some time, but Maggie started to understand the wet, cold, white stuff under her feet. Chris made a snowman that was about five feet tall. It was a great day!
