Let it SNOW!!!

Um...I am not so sure about all this? Don't you want to pick me up, now?

Look at the snowman! Where is his carrot nose?

This is my snowball!

We had an exciting day here yesterday. It snowed all day long, and when I got home from school we had about 2 and a half inches of snow on the ground. Chris, Maggie and I went out into the backyard and enjoyed ourselves. Well, Chris and I enjoyed ourselves...it took some time, but Maggie started to understand the wet, cold, white stuff under her feet. Chris made a snowman that was about five feet tall. It was a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Chris and I spent Thanksgiving morning working in the baby's room. It is starting to come together. It is definitely a room for a little boy. I hope we don't have any surprises. :) Maggie found a new place to sleep. She is going to be a good guard dog.

Maggie doesn't even know what to do with herself, now that the house has been taken over by baby stuff.

KPMG baby shower

On November 17th, Chris's work threw us a joint baby shower. There are three new KPMG babies coming in early 2010. It was a lot of fun, and we got some great stuff. The best part of the shower was when the three new parents had to race putting a diaper on a doll. Chris later said that as soon as he walked up to the table it dawned on him that he had never changed a diaper before. Needless to say, he was the first done--which is great. However, it was on backwards. We all had a good laugh....maybe we should practice some more before January.

32 week ultrasound

This week we had another ultrasound. Everything looked great. He is a big boy, already reading off the charts in growth. This is a picture of his profile. Who do you think he looks like?

Is this my new bed?

Halloween 2009

On Halloween, Chris was at a A & M football game, so it was just Maggie and I to pass out candy. We had fun waiting for all the kids to come to the door. Maggie really enjoyed the kids that were right at her level, even though not all of them did (some of them I didn't even get to give candy to, because she made them nervous and they ran from the door). I didn't have a costume, so I decided to make my own little costume. Our little boy was a pumpkin. It was really cute and kind of scary how much my stomach actually looked like a pumpkin. I can't wait until next year when I can dress the baby and Maggie is costumes that match.
